Privacy Policy for X/Twitter Spam Blocker
Last updated: July 3, 2026
X/Twitter Spam Blocker is a browser extension that helps users clean spam on X/Twitter by hiding matching spam content and allowing users to review high-risk accounts before blocking them.
Data We Process
The extension processes X/Twitter page content on the user’s device, including tweet text, account/profile information, links, and related spam-matching signals. This processing is used only to detect spam, hide matching content, show block review candidates, and record local protection activity.
The extension does not process unrelated websites.
Local Storage
The extension stores the following data locally on the user’s device:
- Extension settings
- Protection statistics
- Activity history, such as hidden content and block results
- Daily block safety limit status
This data is used to provide the extension’s spam filtering, review, dashboard, and activity log features.
Data Transmission
In the current version, X/Twitter Spam Blocker does not send tweet content, account content, activity history, or protection statistics to our servers.
When the user confirms a block action, the block request is performed through X/Twitter. This action is necessary to block the selected account on X/Twitter.
Data Sharing
We do not sell user data.
We do not transfer user data to third parties for purposes unrelated to the extension’s single purpose.
We do not use user data for advertising, creditworthiness, or lending purposes.
Remote Code
The extension does not load or execute remote JavaScript or WebAssembly. All extension code is packaged with the extension.
Future Spam Reporting Feature
If a future version adds an optional spam reporting feature, this privacy policy will be updated before release. Such a feature would only send report data after a user action, and would explain what data is sent, why it is sent, and how it is used.
